A startup launched a new party game on Kickstarter, and they needed a video. They wanted to show their game in motion, show how light-hearted and fun it could be, and use humor to appeal to their target audience. We pitched multiple concepts (some crazier than others) and ultimately landed on this one, called Heroes. The idea was that every party has its heroes: the people who make it special. And we were going to celebrate them. Highlighting different heroes gave us a humorous way to show off different aspects of Body Pong in motion. The video was well received, even if, sadly, the game itself wasn’t. I wrote everything from the pitches to the final script, directed talent on set and at the voice recording session, and helped guide the final edit.
